Much Ado About Nothing

Today is the day before the day before Halloween. It is also Friday. This means that we are at the precipice of Halloween weekend! I am excited for the following reasons:
1. It's the weekend. 'Nuf said.
2. Sunday is Halloween which marks the beginning of my all-time favorite holiday, "HalloThankChristYear" (And no, that is not sac-religious. It's a compilation of all the Fall/Winter holidays).
3. I am going on a road-trip to Daegu with Rachel (the other half to my Korean couple).
4. We are going to visit Jodi and Alex (my and Rachel's matching Korean couple).
5. I am obsessed with "getting-out-of-town" trips and this excursion to the southern part of South Korea (Redundant, I know. Damn communism splitting up a perfectly decent penninsula.) is going to be so much fun!
6. While in Daegu we will be celebrating Halloween by attending a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre which promises to be awesome and incredibly festive!
7. Sunday also marks my 2 month-i-versary of being in Korea and the half-way point to when I come home to visit.
Now, because it is Friday afternoon at work after classes are finished and before a fun and exciting weekend begins, the time is naturally moving slower than a pack of wild slugs, so I decided to write a quick post to waste some time and inform you all of upcoming topics to get excited about (or not.... depending on how bored and into the blog you are). Things to expect sometime in the future:
1. Halloween in Daegu (including a mini-blurb about the rad trick I played on my kids at school)
2. "Optional" school hiking trip
3. Travel plans!
4. Something humorous.... hopefully.
And that's about all for now. I try not to plan too far in advance lest I forget to actually end up writing about it all (in typical Laurie fashion).
"No, actually I wouldn't say I'm a planner. I'm actually, I'm more of a 'fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants' kinda gal, ya know? Moment to moment."

Anyway, I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Halloween! Trick! Treat! Enjoy! (and of course eat lots of candy because the "fattening up" season is approaching and you wouldn't want to fall behind...). I will see you all next week when I return from South South Korea!! (Yeah, watch me make fun of how ridiculous that is).
Annyeonghi gaseyo! Or maybe... Annyeonghi gasibsio! I really don't know because figuring out how to correctly say goodbye in Korean is humanly impossible. So, for now, let's just stick to my typical......

LATER GATOR!!!!!!!!!

PS - For your pre-weekend viewing pleasure......
(In case you are wondering, this video includes..... Rachel as the DJ, Alex as Dracula, Keara as Frankenstein, Jodi as the witch, and yours truly as the mummy.)
Fan. Tastic.
